Earring Collection

I love big, chunky earrings with interesting details. One of my favorite brands for jewellery is Amrapali (amrapalijewels.com). Absolutely love all their designs and can never leave their stores without wanting to buy a few pieces.These are some of the pairs I use the most frequently; the turquoise pair are my favorite of the lot. The shapes and colors really stand out against an outfit in neutral tones and make even the simplest outfit more interesting.

Weekend with Audrey

Spending a lazy Saturday curled up in bed watching Audrey Hepburn movies back to back. Although I have seen these a million times, I will never tire of watching the gorgeous actress light up the screen with her flawless beauty, elegance and charm.

Collection of Skulls

I am indiscriminate when it comes to buying accessories with regards to following a particular style. I love all types of jewellery, shoes and bags in styles that vary from classic to sporty; from ethnic to punk rock. For several years now I have been obsessed with accessories embossed with skulls. These are a few of my favorites which I use frequently:

The staples of my wardrobe- the black blazer, ribbed vest and leggings- work together to create an easy look or can be worn as separates. Accessories are kept to a minimal due to the size of the ring, but cannot
survive without a watch!

A lesson in Personal Style from Kate Lanphear

Apart from wanting to own almost every piece of clothing worn by Kate Lanphear (Style Director of Elle USA), what I love about her style is that it is so uniquely her, as it works perfectly for both her body and personality. Combined with studded accessories and that hair, she has honed in on a look that perfectly expresses who she is.

As a first post, I would like to introduce my style with a collage of a few pieces which describe my general look. This is a variation of essentially the same outfit I have always worn: Black or neutral top, black bottom, blazer (if the weather is cool enough) and statement shoes/ jewellery. While I at times try different colors and styles, I am more drawn to the idea of a uniform look and generally limit experimenting to accessories. What is your signature look?
